Coaching
CVLA welcomes parent and non-parent coaches and assistant coaches in all divisions. All levels of experience are welcome to support a team!
The BC Lacrosse Association offers certification and CVLA covers your coaching clinic fees. You will have to have a satisfactory criminal record check before joining a team.
Fair Play Code
CVLA supports and encourages fair play for parents, coaches and players. We welcome coaches who will encourage all players to have fun, play fairly, and respect the rules, officials and opponents.
BCLA Coaching Clinics
Coaching Clinics take place between February and April each spring in Nanaimo or at the Comox Valley Sports Centre. We cover the clinic fee for CVLA coaches.
- Division U7 to U13 coaches must complete Community Development Level 1 course during the season.
- Division U15 and U17 coaches must complete the Competitive Introduction Level 2 course after Level 1 is completed.
