The Comox Valley Lacrosse Association is a member of the Vancouver Island Minor Lacrosse Commission (VIMLC).  The CVLA provides two voting representatives at each VIMLC meeting.

The VIMLC schedules regular season games, competitive division playdowns, and awards Island league and championship banners. VIMLC assigns a commissioner for each division to coordinate games for that division.

The VIMLC also certifies referees and deals with protests, complaints, appeals and disciplinary matters.
